I am doing a fire seal in a drywall with calcium silicate boards and not normal gypsum boards, is that ok?

Yes, as long as the wall is classified according to EN 13501-2 for the required fire resistance period, and the wall thickness is equal or greater than the approval for the fire stopping product.
